War Memorials

Dear Mr/Mrs,

We're writing to you in the hope you would be able to assist us. The Royal British Legion Scotland and the Earl Haig Fund Scotland have provided us with your contact details as they're assisting us in our research for relatives and ex-colleagues.

As you might well be aware, with the opening of the Headquarters of the Royal Bank of Scotland Group at Gogarburn, the National Bank of Scotland (WWI and WWII) and Commercial Bank of Scotland (WWII) War Memorials situated at 42 St Andrews Square were relocated to the Main Entrance at the new site.

Following this relocation of the War Memorials, The Royal Bank of Scotland Group would be very interested to get in contact with any ex-colleagues, relatives or anyone who may have links to any of the individuals named on these memorials. We are aiming to pull together a database in order to keep everyone informed of this new location and are hoping that you may be able to provide us with contact details for these individuals.

Please do find enclosed the lists with all named on the War Memorials. Any assistance or feedback regarding this matter would be appreciated and would be gratefully received by Vincent van Dijk at the Gogarburn Headquarters, please see contact details below. We look forward to hearing from you.

Yours sincerely,
