hi all just found out about web site took me years to find it lol...just been reading all the headlines and messages and looking at pics seen loads of names i remember who were my corporals seargeants ect...and old mates too... big womble deek ,doitchy ,soup , mumps brogan ....and the best part of all seeing picture of my old mate percy my name is tosh was b coy 4 platoon if anyone remembers me ...i hang about with peter kerr .wee bod ...ronnie hastie ..alan davidson ..who is now my boss in northern ireland otherwise known as big damage hope to be on site a lot now and catch up with old mates

I was there as well, do you remember the race between Ronnie Hastie and the kenyan up the hill behind the camp, am i right in saying Ronnie beat him, but still he gave the kenyan guy all of the winnings.

think a few lads had a run with the kenyans but ronnie hastie did ours at camp with one of the keyan olympic team so he said he was and ronnie baet him it was running up a mountain too think we gave the kenyan about 200 bucks for losing aswell

Spike Flannagan, spent a great week with him and wee Sumdger in Strasbourg in a tent. We were three single guys in one tent. Also there was Stevie King and family, Chuck Norris and family, and others but can't remember. Wasted for the whole week!
