School visits to the Regimental Museum

Gather your troops for an educational day out! The museum holds a unique collection of uniforms, paintings, medals, library and archive which portrays the life of the regiment from 1678 to the present day. It is housed in a historic building with many Charles Rennie Mackintosh features that was the house of T and R Annan, well-known Glasgow photographers.

 

Opening times

We are open Tuesday - Friday 10:00-15:30. We are closed over Christmas and New Year.

Admission

Entry to the museum is FREE although donations are most welcome. If you are bringing a larger groups it's best to let us know in advance.

The Museum tells the stories of the officers and and men who served in the regiments over three centuries. It follows the them around the world and tells of their deeds long ago, and in their own words, of their adventures in the great wars of the 20th Century.
